For a number of years now we have been a major part of the Oamaru Heritage Radio, both setting up the radio station and presenting progrms live on air.
With moving down to help our Daughter and Son in Law we tried to step away from the radio waves, but the lure of the mic always seems to draw us back.
So after a number of internet issues, i.e. trying to get a resonalbe connection being in the middle of no where, and having one of the oldest telephone exchanges in the country, we have are now back on air live a few times a week.
We broadcast live locally on 88.3fm around the Lignite Pit Cafe using our own transmitter, which can be picked up from Gorge Road to Kapuka, and once our Son in Law climbs a pole to put up the new airel we will be able to increse the coverage area.
We broadcast 24hr a day on 88.3fm and online Stream Link
Eunice is live on air Friday mornings 9am till 1pm and Sunday 6pm till 8pm
Charlie spins old 45's Friday afternoons from 4pm till 6pm.
Both can be heard at other times when they are filling in for other presenters.
If you are travelling in the Oamaru area they can be heard on Oamaru Heritage Radio 88.3fm and 107fm and at www.ohr.nz
